Notable Colleague: Abigail Clark

  • News

Historically, Abels have always recognised and celebrated notable achievements by individuals within our organisation. This has continued to this day and is a key part of our commitment to develop team members during their career path in our great industry.

Today we celebrate the story of Abigail Clark, recently
promoted to UK Move Consultant; joining our organisation
as an Administration Apprentice at only 16 years old.
Abigail then embarked on her NVQ Business Admin level
2 before progressing to achieve her Level 3 passing all coursework and exams with flying colours in July 2020. During these 3 ½ years Abigail went from strength to strength, demonstrating a high level of client care, product knowledge and gravitated naturally towards the sales side of the business. Gaining promotion in January 2021, it was clear to the management team that all of Abi’s hard work, drive and determination had paid dividends. In February and March 2021, this became even more apparent when we saw Abigail’s personal sales figures top the charts among the Move Consultants team. Well done Abigail! And keep up the great work!

Kavan McCullagh – Director of Sales

“It has been a great pleasure to witness Abbie’s progression since joining Abels, only a few months after leaving school. I truly believe in apprenticeships and have seen how training in the workspace can prove hugely valuable to all concerned. Abi’s drive and commitment to the cause has seen her progress to her current position and I’m sure she will continue on this path and look forward to the success and achievements to come; a great role model for the younger demographic looking to join our industry – well done Abbie!”

Abigail Clark – Move Consultant

“ I joined the company on the Apprenticeship scheme straight from school, one of my main worries was the telephone because I had never been in an office environment before and had to speak to many different customers. I had lots of training and encouragement from management and colleagues that made me feel more than confident on the phone. I now spend 90% of my day either on the telephone or completing video surveys for our clients. I have had a huge amount of support from my colleagues and it has helped me excel from an apprentice to a Move Consultant, dealing with my own clients daily.”
