Advice when moving to Equatorial Guinea

We have been made aware by our local partners of lengthy shipment delays and interruptions which are to be expected for all shipments to and from Equatorial Guinea.

The delays will run 15 days before and 15 days after the 17th Ordinary Session of the Summit of the African Union.

The summit will be held in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, from 23 June to 1 July, 2011.

Equatorial Guinea’s president, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, is the head of the African Union. The summit is therefore anticipated to be sizeable and preparations in the country are already underway.

Please take this into consideration for all current and upcoming inbound and outbound shipments to Equatorial Guinea.
