Chad – Location in Africa

For those planning moving to Chad, we have been advised on the below updated requirement.

Please note that from 1 April 2013, any cargo imported to or exported from Chad will need to have an Electronic Cargo Tracking Note (ECTN).

The ECTN number will need to be included on the bill of lading and on the manifest.

For all imports, the shipper will need to provide the ECTN 5 days after the vessel’s departure from the port of loading.

To apply for the ECTN and for details on the registration and tariff requirements please follow link: www.antaser.com/

Please note, failure to provide the ECTN may result in delays and additional charges for your shipment.
