Details about the Advanced Payment Guarantee
Abels is a member of the British Association of Removers Advance Payment Guarantee scheme. This scheme from the 1st July 2017 is a replacement for the previous scheme run by IMMI. Members have paid subscriptions into the fund to provide that coverage. Each companies accounts are audited yearly to ensure they are not a large risk to the fund. Should that member cease trading, your move will be completed without further cost to you. (Customers without this bond, where the removal company goes into administration / bankruptcy, may be liable to pay for the cost of the move again to have it completed, which can be many thousands of pounds).
