Abels Moving Services has been thanked by Phil Jones on behalf of the Godmanchester FoodBank Steering Group, for the donation of 150 boxes for the FoodBank project.
In his letter Phil Jones has written to John Watson at Abels to tell us about how the boxes were used for the charity. He wrote “On behalf of the Godmanchster FoodBank we would like to thank Abels so much for your company’s generous gift of 150 boxes that were used for preparing the distribution of Christmas Food Hampers to families, couples and single people in great need over the Christmas time in the Huntingdonshire area.”
The Godmancheter FoodBank is now in its forth year, and this year saw a greater number of people who were in need of food support, due to a variety of reasons.
