January – The Broadway for Nainoa
The Broadway is a mixed-use development in Westminster, that brings a new perspective on contemporary living with its collection of design-led luxury apartments – creating a vibrant new living quarter. Revamped from its former life as the Metropolitan Police Headquarters in the 1960s, interiors specialists, NAINOA, are behind The Broadway’s inspiring, yet tranquil, communal and wellness areas.
February – White Glove Installation at Christ Church Library, Oxford.
With unparalleled expertise in moving antiques and specialised items for both businesses and homes, our precision was highlighted in February as we completed a white glove installation at Christ Church Library in Oxford. We understand the importance of moving goods from property to property, ensuring that all items are correctly stored and preserved in an appropriate environment.
March – Website Launch
As we progressed into a new era of moving abroad, we underwent a redesign to increase useability and functionality. Working collaboratively with our internal marketing team, connecting with various audiences across both social media and the new website. The website is now fully functional across both mobile and desktop devices! With further accessibility to explore the amazing moving services Abels provides across the UK and globally.
April – Exclusively Connect at Chelsea FC
We were thrilled to be invited to an Exclusively Connect evening at Chelsea Football Club. Members of the Abels team invited three esteemed guests to join them for an evening of luxury and conversation. We provide premium moving services across Chelsea and the other London boroughs – it was an honour to connect with other prestige businesses.
May – Kings Coronation and The Elite London Show
The Abels team attended the bespoke Elite London Show, showcasing the unbelievable talent of Abels moving capabilities. We joined a variety of high-end luxury lifestyle brands in Wycombe Air Park, Buckinghamshire.
Furthermore, in May Abels joined the nation in celebrating King Charles III’s coronation, joined by Camilla as the reigning king and queen of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth realms.
June – Historical ERF Vehicle, The Eastern Daily Press
At Abels we are proud to display unique items and debut these across our industry. In June 2023, the Abels ERF (Edwin Richard Foden) removal vehicle was debuted on the Eastern Daily Press (EDP). We will endeavour to continue to rant and rave about the expectational history of Abels.
July – 140th Sandringham Flower Show
As we continue to celebrate the coronation of the king, we were delighted to attend the 140th annual Sandringham Flower Show. We graciously accepted their invitation to attend and host our honoured guests on this day. As a long-standing business, we have continued to embrace our relationship with the royal family. We are honoured to continue to be Royal Warrant Holders, debuting our expertise in moving house to various prestige individuals.
August – Luggage Delivery Service
Here at Abels, we understand the importance of quickly receiving items of priority. That’s why we provide a bespoke luggage delivery service that quickly and efficiently exports specialist items to your next home. As shipping containers, with large quantities of furniture, can typically take weeks to export, our bespoke luggage delivery service now ensures that our clients are getting the best service possible when moving abroad.
September – Guinness Sale at Elveden
Partnering with Sworders Fine Art Auctioneers for this grand event, Abels Removal Services emerged as a crucial partner to ensure success. Evolving from an auctioneering background, we are skilled in the comprehensive removals of fine art and antiques and understand the tailored needs of private collectors, museums, and the world of commercial art galleries. Sworders Fine Art Auctioneers called upon our careful expertise as a leading removal expert to assist in the management and transportation of these precious objects.
October – The BIID Awards, Draper’s Hall
The BIID UK Interior Design Awards 23 illuminated the elegant interiors of London’s historic Drapers’ Hall. This event celebrated the outstanding achievements of interior designers across the UK. Amidst the extraordinary backdrop of this magnificent venue, Abels stood proudly as a sponsor of the event, a supporter and collaborator in the world of interior design.
November – London to Brighton Veteran Car Run
Celebrating the 127th anniversary of the RM Sotheby London to Brighton Veteran Car Run, Abels assisted in navigating attendees’ belongings from London to Brighton alongside the drivers participating in the event. Using our specialised fleet of trucks, strategically stationed at Hyde Park to handle the logistics of the event, our team ensured that all collected luggage was transported either to the finish line or directly to the hotels in Brighton with efficiency and precision.
December – HQ Renovations
As we progress into another successful year at Abels, we are continuing to revamp and redesign our HQ. This includes new energy-efficient lighting, full air conditioning systems, vehicle forecourt drainage, new state of the CCTV, full redecoration throughout, new Webex phone systems, re–wiring network cable, switchboard & server unit.
As we head into the new year, we are ready to take things head on! Providing our bespoke moving services across the ever-growing industry.
