24 hour strike expected in Greece
We have been informed by the general transport association in Greece (OFAE) that there will be a general strike on 1 December 2011 for 24 hours, in both private and public sectors.
Seafarers will be on strike on 1 December 2011 from 00:00 till 24:00 hrs.
This will undoubtedly effect port activities especially at the very important port of Piraeus.
Abels customers moving to Greece will be contacted should we learn of extended delays to transit and clearance from the ports.
