Step 2: Speak with Your Abels Relocation Consultant
After your initial enquiry, one of our experienced Moving Specialists will be in touch to discuss your relocation in detail. We’ll review timelines, destinations, and any personal considerations – from pets to fragile antiques.
This one-to-one consultation is where your bespoke plan begins. Our role is to listen, advise, and set expectations clearly – delivering the confidence that only decades of industry leadership can provide.
Step 3: In-Home Survey & Tailored Support Planning
To provide you with the most accurate and reliable moving service, we’ll schedule with you a convenient home survey. During this survey, a dedicated Abels Relocation Consultant will assess the dynamics of your move and create your unique relocation plan.
This includes specifying the degree of support you require. Some clients choose from our Concierge Service for lifestyle aspects like sourcing designer furniture. Others prefer the additional support of our Personal Assistant option, where they can handover responsibility to our experienced Moving PA to manage every aspect of their relocation plan and concierge services around their schedule.
Step 4: Receive Your Detailed Relocation Plan & Quote
Based on your survey, we will prepare a comprehensive relocation plan — outlining every detail, including logistics, support services, and pricing.
You’ll receive a transparent quotation with no hidden charges, including a breakdown of all services from packing and transportation to unpacking and post-move care.

Step 5: Move Day, Delivered to Plan, Handled with Care
Following each step, months will turn to weeks, and soon your moving day will fast be approaching. Fortunately, with Abels, you can relax.
On moving day, our professional movers will arrive fully equipped to handle every detail of your move. You won’t need to lift a finger; we’ve got it all covered. Our experienced team will safely and efficiently load your belongings onto our vehicles and transport them to your new home.
Upon arrival, we’ll carefully unload and place everything in its designated spot according to your personalised moving plan. Our job isn’t finished until you’re fully settled in your new residence.
