On Thursday, 14th July, 2022, Abels Moving Services were delighted to officially sign the Armed Forces Covenant (AFC) in the presence of Squadron Leader Mark Fixter, at our head office in Brandon, Suffolk.
The covenant focuses on helping members of the armed forces community have the same access to government and commercial services and products as any other citizen, such as starting a new career. With many of the armed forces skills, such as logistics, planning, leadership, and teamwork, easily transferrable to the removals industry, Abels recognises the talent and values that ex-forces can bring to the workplace.
By signing this AFC, Abels is pledging its ongoing support to veterans and reserves, and we look forward to seeing this commitment flourish over the next few years.
