For customers planning on moving to the Central African Republic, Abels Moving Services have been provided with updated information from our Agents in the region in connection with heavy fighting in the country.

The UN Refugee Agency UNHCR has also stated that in the first two weeks of December 2013 over 210,000 people have been displaced in the country.

Fighting is concentrated around the capital Bangui, French Troops are trying to secure the city.

Our agents advise us that they are prioritising the safety of the household goods in their care, and are also ensuring the safety of their staff at this difficult time. The fighting will greatly affect the ability to move items to this country.

For customers moving to the Central African Republic please call your Abels customer liaison on their direct line or call head office on +44(0)1842 816600 or email shipping@abels.co.uk
