Notable Colleague: Kerry Parrish

Historically, Abels has always recognised and celebrated notable achievements by individuals within our organisation. This has continued to this day and is a key part of our commitment to developing team members during their career path in our great industry. 

Today we celebrate the story of Kerry Parrish. Joining the Operations team in January 2020, Kerry soon became a key member of the department with the challenges and additional tasks most would never imagine we would have faced as a business last year. It was soon clear to all at Abels that, in Kerry, we had gained a true asset in every sense. Kerry now performs crucial daily tasks to a very high standard and we are delighted to have this opportunity to acknowledge all her efforts, hard work and commitment.

“I joined Abels in January 2020 and am new to the Removals Industry. I have learnt so much since arriving – from the rules and regulations regarding the trucks and tachographs to everything involved with travelling/completing moves in Europe, in particular all the new requirements since Brexit and the ever-changing requirements of each country surrounding Covid-19.

I like that I get to work closely with both the UK and International & European teams as well as with the Operations team and crew.

I enjoy the variety of my role and the broad range of responsibilities that I have.”
