Royal Warrant Appointment Extended for Abels

We are delighted to receive the news from Buckingham Palace that it has been recommended our Royal Warrant of Appointment to supply removal and storage services will be extended for a further period.

The Appointment bestowed upon Abels first in 1988 was required to be reviewed and in August 2015 information was provided to allow the Royal Household Warrants Committee to consider a continuation.

The Royal Household Warrants Committee importantly considered, the work performed by Abels, and the way Abels approach sustainability and environmental issues. A very detailed questionnaire had to be completed by Abels to evidence the way business is conducted. The format of the questions ensured the ethos of the company was correctly formatted. The environmental aspects of working in transport and packing has always been important to the Abels management and owners. This renewal exercise helped to question the outcomes being attained, so much so that we commenced the journey to achieve the ISO 14001 standard – see earlier news story on our success.

It is a privilege to maintain the Royal Warrant and to also have the services provided reviewed at such a high level.
