Our agents have updated us on the existing flood at the Nhava Sheva Port – Mumbai, India. Many areas have been submerged causing severe damage and delays in shipments to/from the Nhava Sheva Port and within Mumbai. This year the summer monsoon has hit India much earlier than usual. Heavy rains and floods are likely across various parts of India.
Currently the work at the Nhava Sheva port is being hampered due to extreme water clogging and more rains is expected to hit the region resulting in delays with cargo and shipping related facilities.
