Shipping Delays for Customers Moving to India

Customers face current delays if presently Moving to India and your container is on the water on route.

We have been advised by more than one of our FIDI-faim accredited partners within India that delays should be expected for containers on route and shipping to India and especially into Chennai port that will effect customers who are currently moving to India.

Please be informed that the entire South India including Chennai may suffer with flooding rain and damaging winds whipped up by a Tropical Cyclone named 06B.

According to the weather agencies “extremely heavy rainfall and squally winds reaching speeds of 45-55 kmph are likely to commence along and off Tamil Nadu and Puducherry coasts from 28th December onwards.

This may affect the entire import and export operations at Chennai Port.  Some shipping lines have already postponed the sailing of vessel until it ends.  All domestic inbound and outbound will also suffer due to this cyclone.
