Status on Wednesday 16th July 2014:

The Philippines are preparing for Typhoon Rammasun, also known as Typhoon Glenda to make landfall on July 16. It is reported the port of Manila has been closed due to the storm’s anticipated landfall. The area has already experienced high winds and are bracing for floods and landslides.

The Manila International Container Terminal (MICT) has suspended operations and anticipates reopening late Wednesday, July 16. Shipments to this area will be monitored regarding the situation as needed.
