Currently, all ports in Chile are working under standard conditions

Status on Wednesday 9th July 2014:

Port workers in Chile have been on strike since Tuesday, July 8. The strike is affecting a number of ports and has suspended operations for incoming and outbound shipments.

Delays are expected in the areas of Iquique (ITI on strike); Talcahuano (SVTI, Lirquen, Colenel on strike) and San Antonio (STI on strike).

As it is not known how long this port workers strike in Chile will continue, customers moving to Chile should be aware that when goods are delayed at port there can be additional charges which may occur which would be passed along to the shipping customer.
