Moving to Norway, Delays Experienced Due to Port Strikes
We have received advice from our shipping lines that the vessel pilots and crane workers in the Oslo fjord have gone on strike and this will affect Oslo, Fredrikstad, Kristiansand and Moss Ports. Only ships with a pilot exemption will be let through.
Kristiansand Port – Strike.
Moss Port – Strike.
Brevik Port – No strike.
Larvik Port – No strike.
Fredrikstad Port – Strike from 00.00 25.05.2012
Oslo Port – Negotiations started at 08.30 24.05.2012. There is a strong possibility that a strike will be the outcome, but no information as to when this will take effect.
