Detailed move planning

In order to ensure a smooth move, our planning takes into account an accurate assessment of the volume to be moved, any special treatments of items, special crates or cases as well as quantifying the amount of packing to be done. The information taken at the time of our home appointment, then conveyed to you in our Removal Proposal, is then provided to your removal team. In this way all parties are clear about "who is doing what aspect of the move and when".

Time planning is also an important aspect of executing your move. We look at the number of hours it will take, and how many men and vehicles will be needed. This information is then recorded on our systems so that your moving requirements are clearly visible and understood by all involved.

As is true in most things, there is no substitute for accurate and detailed planning. To quote Aristotle: "Well begun is half done."

It is well documented that moving home is one of life's most stressful events. Stress is caused by tight time-scales, the considerable amount of work and arrangements needed to make the move happen, and the unknown factors that are involved.

We help minimise and remove stress by giving useful advice and detailed information on what needs to be done.

Part of our service is aimed at taking over the complete responsibility of managing the move and others involved in and around it. Not only that, we can supplement the provision of our experienced crews by providing a
Personal Assistant to help the lady of the house take care of all those little things that really matter.

Customer Satisfaction Questionnaires are available to complete either online via the website or on the printed copy which has been supplied to you after each move takes place. This enables you to be honest about the services that you have received from Abels.

As an important part of our ISO Quality Standard we send out questionnaires to all our moving clients. A major way to improve what we do is to be told by the most important people in our business - our customers - what we have done well and where we have perhaps not "hit the mark". All questionnaires are analysed and assessed by our quality management team.
