SPECIALLY TAILORED STORAGE SERVICE FOR STUDENTS LAUNCHED

A storage service specifically designed for students at universities and colleges in Cambridge has been launched by Abels Moving Services, East Anglia’s leading removals and storage company.

The unique service offers a solution for students worried about where to store their belongings over the summer holidays or at other times when they are not at college or university. Abels, which holds a Royal Warrant for removals and storage services to HM the Queen, collects, securely stores and delivers back to the student when required. In addition, Abels can provide the packing materials delivered direct to the student. It also provides the flexibility of enabling students to deliver and collect their belongings from the company’s network of warehouses.

John Watson, Abels’ UK Services managing director, said: “As a father who had two daughters spend several years at university, I wish that there had been these services available then. I spent many hours driving, packing and unpacking my car to move them to and from their halls and rented accommodation. This new service is fast, reliable and cost effective. I am certain parents as well as students will welcome this initiative.”

Prices start at 25 including VAT to store four boxes for five weeks without collection/delivery, and 70 for the full service.

Abels operates from three centres in East Anglia. The moving services company provides national, international and commercial removal services, including specialist relocation and packing services. In addition it provides the home delivery of new furniture for both retailers and manufacturers.
