Moving to Kitchener

Kitchener is a city in Southern Ontario in Canada and is located about 63 miles west of Toronto. The city has a population of around 219,153 inhabitants, and 477,160 in the metropolitan area.

The original name for Kitchener was the Town of Berlin from 1854 right up till 1912 and then was called the City of Berlin from 1912 until 1916. After 1916 it was then changed to Kitchener after the late British Field Marshal The 1st Earl Kitchener General.
