ABELS AND ICM MOVE IN WITH GERSON
Michael Gerson Limited, one of the UK’s leading international moving and storage companies, has been acquired by ICM Kungsholms of Sweden and Abels Moving Services in the UK, creating an organisation with a combined turnover of around £37 million, easily within the top five of the UK moving industry.

A QUALITY HAT TRICK
We have started the New Year with a hat trick of accreditations. Abels has had its two quality assurance accreditations (ISO 9001 and FIDI FAIM) audited and renewed, to add to the Investors In People (IIP) accreditation renewed earlier last year, resulting in a full set for 2009.

SHORT AND LONG TERM STORAGE
Many home moves involve storage as part of the process. Short term storage could be needed where a new home is not going to be ready in time or a long chain has been broken, or longer term storage where someone is being posted abroad through work.
