‘REIGN’ OF ROYAL REMOVERS RENEWED AGAIN

‘REIGN’ OF ROYAL REMOVERS RENEWED AGAINBuckingham
Palace has confirmed that the Royal Warrant originally awarded to Abels
Moving Services in 1988 will be extended until 2011. The firm was the
first to become By Appointment to HM the Queen for removals and storage
services.

Abels started to work for the Royal Household in 1981. In December
1988, following continuous work for the Royal Household, it was awarded
the unique accolade in recognition of services rendered. However, a
Royal Warrant is not given in perpetuity, being reviewed periodically,
making it essential for a holder to continue to provide services of the
highest quality to the Royal Palaces.

Philip Pertoldi, Abels’ group managing director and Grantee of the
Warrant, said: “It was an honour to have been awarded a Royal Warrant,
and we are delighted that it has been again extended, recognising our
continuing work for the Royal Palaces for over 25 years.”
